Millcreek Venture Outdoors Festival

We participated in the Venture Outdoors Festival in Millcreek over the weekend and had a great time! I attempted my first teaming game with 2 other booths. I'd met Salt Lake County earlier that morning at the Slimdown Sandy weigh outs - so when I saw them again at the festival I wanted to create a competition to see how many people we could send to each other's booths. I met Stretch and Grow at the festival and liked what they had and attempted the same for them.
It made the day a lot more fun for me - but also distracted me from my main objective in going to the festival....and don't know how many referrals of mine actually remembered our name or mentioned it to the other booths.
I'm made it through calling the leads we collected at the event and have gotten a pretty good response so far. So far it seems like the I-215 barrier is a bit of a problem in getting people to cross, but I haven't had enough time to make a definitive assessment of our return on attending the event.
The highlight of the event was that I met Alie of moonvine organics and we are going to work on some cross marketing and drive traffic to each of our businesses. I'm totally excited about the possibilities and events we have planned so far.
